do you catch her grabbing the "oh sh!t" handle above the door, or trying to push the imaginary break on the floor? And does she remind you every 30 seconds what the speed limit is? Or is that just my mom? lol

Oh my mom does the same thing. In fact, she won't even drive with me that often because she doesn't figure I have enough experience, and she worries. (I've been driving for 5 years, lol).
She constantly is telling me to "Slow down!!" (even when I'm driving below the speed limit) and always is telling me to be careful, and to not do this or that..I think Moms are just naturally paranoid.. though mine seems worst than most. :p

I've never driven my mum anywhere (only passed a month ago!) but my boyfriend grabs the wheel everytime! I just can't drive with him, on my own I'm a perfect little driver, but as soon as he gets near the car I start stalling and revving and going into hedges!

Nope--she always insists on driving even though I'm 30 years old and have been driving for 15 years. Then again, she has a license and mine is kinda suspended.

Hell yes, and I'm 47 years old!
A couple of months ago, my mom was admitted to the hospital because of severe dizziness. I left work and went to pick her up at her house. As we were walking to the car, she goes, "Are you gonna drive?" Like I would want her to drive me when she's so dizzy she has to go in the hospital!

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! Whenever I drive, my mom totally freaks out.
The same happens to my grandmother when she drives and my grandfather is in the front seat. They tell me funny stories like that ALL the time :)

my mom does it, but tries not too by reminding herself that im driving.
its when my dad is in my car that he gets scared n reminds me of the roads every so oftern.
