Yesterday afternoon my Scop emailed that we should stop dating and that he thought I felt the same way. I didn't!! We spoke on the phone and met up last night.
He does admit to seasonal depression, said he was in a tailspin.
We have been monogamously dating for six months. Even though he said he was sad and I made him happy he still wanted to be alone, without me.
Worse, we had a nice hot date Monday, our usual good time then Thursday night -goodbye!! I am in shock hurting sad and mad this happened right before Xmas. I feel horrible and haven't eaten since yesterday.
Yes it is over. I told him there's no going back cause I don't do back and forth I will not accept him calling me in two or three weeks from now changing his mind. Nuh uh!!
Besides blogging a bit (heh), do you guys have any idea how I can come out the other side without being mopey?
PS I'm on a budget so a quick vacation sadly is out of the question right now.
I miss him I adore him but I will abide by his wishes.

Capricorn woman dumped by Scorpio guy-HELP?

ADDED: Thank you I appeciate your reponses. I just left him a vm asking for more info so I can have closure and move on cause right now I'm blaming myself...this came out of the blue right before xmas

Thanks everyone for your concern much of it is helpfull!!
Last night he left a voice mail saying he'd respond to my e-mail he sounded normal and polite.
Today I got an e-mail from him giving reasons why he was breaking up with me. In retrospect I see my part in the manner.
So I sent him a sincere email addressing his concerns and my role in the matter. Told him I'm willing to restructure the relationship cause I have lots of work to do on myself (as does he).
Also I have accepted my part in the drama and am taking this time to work on myself and my business.
I proposed to him that we continue to see each other maybe once a week, on week-ends only for a month or so and see how it works out after that.
In my heart I think he is going to have a change of heart but who knows! Again, thank you everyone I appreciate you taking the time to help.

how come u didnt tell him that u loved him when he was dumping u?...i mean u could just write that u were in love with him n thus if something was bothering him u would stand by him until it all gets away from his life. its true that scorpio guys need space....lots of space.....but remember they are emotional too....n if u want to talk to him now about anything he will hear u......but be very gentle...show him that u care for him....scorpios are extremely secretive. n to take it out of him u have to be like that....however, i must assume here that the decision he took of dumping u has not only hurt u but also him...at least this is what i am getting from the way u have described your dating style.
dont move on by not fighting the battle...otherwise, u will keep regretting for months or years.

It is good that you don't do the back and forth thing. Scorpios, especially the men, don't respect anyone they can manipulate easily. Don't be a yo-yo. Scorpio men can be very moody and not handle their emotions well. My ex wants to get back with me, but I have to see some real long-term changes in his life first. As for the holidays, they suck for a lot of us this year. Don't feel alone on that count!

I agree with Shoot for the moon, your Scorpio told you what he felt comfortable telling you, but still waters run deep, there's more going on. If you really want him, you have let him know, that you'll stick it out with him, he may see you're giving up as a sign that you're not meant for him, scorpios need people who will be stronger than them when they are weak. If you give up that easy, maybe he does need somebody stronger to pull through when things get depressing. Think about it.

Unfortunately, I don't think astrology has anything to do with this one. Capricorns and Scorpios are actually supposed to be a good match. Either way, if you want a feel good activity, just do whatever it is you love.
What's your hobby? Your passion? Do you paint? Go buy yourself some new paints and have at it for a while. Do you dance? Go out dancing and have a blast. Finding happiness is an internal thing, which only you can do for yourself!

it is very selfish to break with a person during the holidays. It is often a guy being too cheap to get a gift and a date for New Year's Eve. I am a therapist and every year , I see a few woman with broken hearts from getting dumped at this time of year. A close relative of mine had her bubby ask for a divorce after 20 years and 2 kids at the holidays. I think that was unneccessarity mean.
