sometimes me and my friends argue with this question, i just want to know your guys opinion.

U of Michigan is regarded as more liberal arts, academicly oriented. Michigan State originally was the ag school and has a different and slightly more conservative culture.

Neither is superior as such, though U of M has a higher percentage of applicants who are not accepted.

U of M is a little more superior, but Michigan state is a quailty school and in some cases can be cheaper

I'm assuming that you are referring to Miami vs Michigan.

I would say that Michigan is better. It is a top five public school and really has everything to offer you.

Better academics, if you live in michigan it would be way cheaper.

Which "M" are you referring to? Maryland? Missouri? Usually, U of M is just another way of referring to Michigan!
