St. Joe's is a highly respected university. The B school is just fine.

Beware, those Jesuits make you think. There will be many times when your brain will be tired.

It is not a "ghetto" school and is located in a decent neighborhood of Philadelphia. If you are serious about going there, by all means visit the campus and make up your own mind.

A note on visiting campuses - I think a lot of students, and their parents, do it backwards. Why don't you apply to a number of schools first, and then visit the colleges that have accepted you? This saves a lot of gasoline and wear and tear on you and the 'rents.

Good luck with your studies.

St. Josephs is a decent school with a fairly good business school. It is a Jesuit university which has made a lot of changes over the past 10-20 years. It is actually located in the Overbrook area of Philadelphia which, while a predominantly African-American neighborhood, is very much a middle/upper-middle-class area, and it is just off City Line Avenue, which marks the beginning of the Main Line, the wealthy suburbs of Philadelphia.

any saint school is going to have a lot of classes required for graduation that have religion. if this is okay with you, then the degree looks good to employers. good luck.
