Why doesn't my "Western" plow go left and right?

It goes up and down but not left or right. I have had the hand control replaced with no effect and have replaced the coils. What else can I do?

First of all, I assume that the hydraulic lines are attached and the pump is working. It could be that the rams are frozen or rusted, or the plow pivots may be seized! Have someone work the controls, and look to see it the rams are moving at all. You should also check the fluid level.

You may want to take the rams loose from the plow, and see if they will work with no pressure on them.
