I do, too! But I believe the tax increase should be limited to only those who profited from this trillion-dollar 'war'. How about imposing a 50% tax on Halliburton's profits (oh, wait, they're moving their corporate headquarters offshore to avoid paying U.S. taxes). Well, maybe we could tax the Carlyle Group's profits they've taken from the 'war' (oh, no, that's a company primarily made up of foreign investors, including a family by the name of binLaden who originally put up $2.5 million. The most prominent American principle in the Carlyle Group is George H.W. Bush).

Come on! Corporate welfare rapes taxpayers of much more money that the social welfare programs. I doubt any one on the government dole will be mowing your lawn or doing your laundry unless you're a U.S. Senator who can hand out billions of dollars to them. -RKO- 12/21/07

I dunno... If I support another tax cut for billionaires and big business, will they mow my lawn and do my laundry?
