Christmas eve, I take my kids and go to my parents house, we share cookies listen to christmas music and exchange one gift (except my parents they are old fashioned and dont give a single present until christmas day)
so my sisters and i all exchange gifts to eachother, i'm planning on giving each of my kids a present from me & i would like to give my mother $10 so she can take my son to pick out a gift for me and one for his sister so he has something to give so he feels included.
but we pig out on veggie trays cheese meat and crackers cookies, n.a.egg nog, you know all the good stuff.
Christmas day my kids will wake up and open presents and we will play until about 2:00 then we go back to my parents where my mother and I make dinner together. We exchange gifts with my grandparents. Then we come home to play again before bed.

Getting to see all of the relatives for christmas and the traditional cooking of Gumbo and or Turkey, ham, roast, barbecue ribs, potato salad, green salad, mustard greens, cornbread dressing, rice dressing, sweet potato pies and a large christmas cake. Now all of this is indeed traditional. You're invited. The traditional also brings on love ones that have gone on and left the mark of what and how things was done before they passed on.

My husband & I always go to my inlaws Christmas night. A whole bunch of my husband's family is there and we all eat supper together. Then we open presents and enjoy each other.
After that we drive back home.
The next morning we see that Santa has come! We watch the kids enjoy all the stuff Santa brought then we peek in our Stockings. We then eat a quick breakfast then open up gives from each other and other family members.
After that my in laws drop by to see what Santa brought the kids. Then we head to Waffle House for lunch.
After that we relax from all the excitement! lol Usually my parents come up to visit but this year they won't be able to. We had an early Christmas with them on Thanksgiving.
