I see some of the same people who voted for Ross Perot (and their college-aged kids) now pushing for Ron Paul. Some idealists never see the realities.
And you're wrong about Obama...Oprah's crowd alone is a very supportive bunch. What? You think only Clinton's supporters will vote? Re-consider that thought.
It's Unfair to say Dean's supporters didn't vote...they did...just not for him. What kind of creep turns from being an avid supporter to openingly question the mental health of war veteran like Dean? His supporters smiled publically and punch another ticket privately...an entirely different matter.
I question how many people who participate in Y!A political section actually vote. I hope every USA citizen turns out to vote...regardless of their choice. It's every citizen's right...and responsibility.

"Go on a public street and scream that Ron Paul is an idiot. Chances are, you won't be able to stay in that spot for more than a couple of minutes without being severely injured."
Unlikely. It is far more likely that most people will be asking the same question that most people do when they hear about Ron Paul: Who is Ron Paul? Of course, if one of Ron Paul's rabid fanatics did attack a human being just for voicing a dissenting opinion, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. The whole lot of them are brainwashed close-minded bigots who would hurt someone just for not falling into line with their religion. Of course, none of this really matters anyway because even if 100% of his supporters vote in the upcoming election, it won't even come close to matching the 5% of Obama supporters who vote.

Ron Paul supporters may very well be.
But I suggest you take Barack Obama very seriously. He has a fair chance of defeating Hillary in the primaries. And if the Republicans nominate a weak candidate, he could be our next president. Don't dismiss this guy as a kook, he's not one.
Vote for Rudy!

No you're a bit confused.
1. Obama and Paul are raking in the most cash right now.
2. Most who are polled are home owners who are also registered voters.
3. Home owners who send in cash to their candidates don't forget to vote.
4. Obama is the best democrat for the job.
5. Paul is the best republican for the job.

Okay, heres the difference. Obama stands an actual chance (hes 1st or second depending on which poll). Ron Paul has about 3 supporters who use the internet to multiply themselves by like 9000. If that weren't true, why wouldn't he have more than 1% in all the polls?

Ron Paul: He's going to do better than anyone expects. Look to Paul to climb into the double-digits in Iowa. Why? He's different, he stands out. He's against the war and he has the one in four Republicans who oppose the war all to himself. Libertarianism is hot, especially among free-market Republicans and 20-somethings. And he's an appealing sort of father figure. He's his own brand. All he needs to do is beat a couple of big names in Iowa, then New Hampshire is friendlier territory. After all, the state motto is "Live Free or Die."

Ron Paul supporters are known to be the most boisterious and supportive fans/voters.
Want to experiment?
Go on a public street and scream that Ron Paul is an idiot. Chances are, you won't be able to stay in that spot for more than a couple of minutes without being severely injured.
