Imagination and creativity is a gift that has to be put into use. You can sit by yourself in a quiet place and just hear music in your head while closing your eyes. Sometimes this becomes so powerful that you actually think you are in a concert or dance club.
If you are talking about a whole different idea then use visual cues to bring interest that will result in listening.
