I support the Democrat party mostly because of George Bush. I agree with the Democrats on more stem cell research (an issue close to my heart), health care, education, Veterans Affairs, global warming and the environment, foreign policy and more diplomacy and getting out of Iraq which is a war based on lies for oil and money.

I would be a Republican of yesteryear because I believe in less government programs, a strong military and am basically a fiscal conservative. However, I am gay, so am not welcome in the Republican party. In addition, because the religious right controls the Republican party, it is becoming a party of social issues only...such as Bush was elected not because of his experience, ability or intellect...but, simply because he said he was a born-again.

If the Republican Party ever nominates a candidate again that is based on plans/intellect/experience, and not according to his religion...I will definitely consider supporting them....until that time...I have to choose the lesser of two evils when choosing a candidate...and usually have to go with the Democratic nominee....

I don't support any party; I am a strong independent. Both the democratic and the republican parties are corrupt in different ways. I identify most with the socialist party.
I believe in freedom, REAL freedom, and equality.
I'm a very strong liberal. The government's main focuses should be reducing American oil consumption and ending the war in Iraq.
I strongly oppose corporate America.
I can't stand those opposing illegal immigration.
This law-and-order, property-lined, consumer driven world is ridiculous. This is EVERYONE'S planet- no more mine than yours. Everyone has the right to live wherever they want to live.

Liberal Democrat. With some boundaries.

1) Pro- life
2) For legalizing gay marriage
3) Supports revoking the Don't Ask Dont Tell Policy (Support ALL of our Troops!)
4) Thinks twice about what the Prez. says
5) Aims to strengthen the middle class
6) Supports ending the war
7) Understands that Church and State are two very different things, and should thereby have no relation
