Ok, I know this is stupid but I thought i could get away with it. I tried to steal an energy drink and a tray of carrs deli food, as i was leaving, some black chick grabs me from behind, so i panic, and I try to get free of her grasp, and doing so, i fell to the ground on my knees, which really messed them up bad, and apparently took down the black chick with me, and some other dude came out and pretty much jumped on me, so they take me back, and the cops say they are charging me with a felony, robbery 2 or soemthing, because of assault and theft, apparently the stupid ****** hurt her knee. So all this stupid bs goes by, and the next day, the security from carrs calls my work and tells them that I cant work because of what happened, and I was never even in Jail, and im fully capiable of working, so is there any way I can like get out of this or sue someone or anything? cause this is complete bull ****, i never hurt anyone, especially on purpose, and who the hell would call someonejob

They do not have the right to say you are unfit to work, and that does constitute slander.

As for the charges, you are probably going to be found guilty, and I would suggest trying to settle outside of court, if they give you that option. consider offering volunteer service/free labor for an agreed amount of time.

Good luck./

At a minimum you need to consult an attorney in your area familiar with state law. However, generally speaking you really don't have grounds for a suit. All the negative consequenses resulted because you commited a crime, some states that makes you autimatically responsible.

As for them calling your job, I never heard of that or see why it should matter, unless you work for a company that is also owned by Carrs, but that part sounds a little odd. Maybe you can't work where you do because you need to have a clean criminal background and you no longer have one.

Doesn't matter what you intended to do, it matters what you did. So, for instance, if you were shoplifting, and the owner pulled a gun, and fired at you, missed and killed the person next to you, you could be charged with murder. Because you committed the crime that precipitated the whole chain of events.

Not only do you face those kinds of repercussions, but if someone wants to make your life miserable, they can do so. It's not defamation because it's the truth.

They didn't ruin your life, you did.

** Note: This is a general discussion of the subject matter of your question and not legal advice. Local laws or your particular situation may change the general rules. For a specific answer to your question you should consult legal counsel with whom you can discuss all the facts of your case. **

I can only hope you spend some time in jail for this.
You admit you committed a crime.
You are only sorry you got caught.
By your own admission you used violence to continue your crime.
You blame your victim for the injuries she received detaining you.

The only possible case you have (that will not affect the criminal charge) is slander by the security from Carr's.

I would get a lawyer. You admitted shoplifting and assault here in your post. You should look at a plea bargain, but you did a stupid thing and have to pay for it. And your charm by calling the store clerk names indicates that unless you change your attitude, the judge might not accept a plea and would toss the book at you.

This is going to be tough. You attempted to steal, and then hurt an employee that tried to stop you. Get a GOOD attorney and hopefully you can get out of this without jail time.

Act like an adult and own up to your actions.

You admit to committing the crime and now you want to avoid the consequences of your actions.
