I hear that college is much better than high school. College isn't fun if you still have the high school mentality of popularity and being the best. College is all about being YOUR best and challenging yourself to grow mentally, spiritually and emotionally. College is where you get to define your life and where you want it to go. High school is where your life is dictated by what your parents think of you, what your friends think of you, your popularity and grades. College is a much more freeing experience. I'm sure you'll look back and say that college was so much better than high school.

College is more freedom but more pressure to study and get things done. With college, its all in the will power to do the things you have to do. There isn't as much high school drama either which is definitely a plus.

High school was a bit more carefree. You could party it up [as long as you were careful and smart enough to not get caught] without many consequences. Less responsibility was nice too. All I had to do is make sure I had good grades and graduated with honors.

I like college better but it can be hard for alot of students to find a balance between school and other activities. The professors won't chase you down for late work like in high school. If you blow off your work, you just fail. There is more freedom, but it comes with more responsibility. An for me, freshman year at least, college work isn't "harder" than high school, you ust need to be really good at time management.

In college you will be responsible for yourself. Mom and Dad aren't going to be there to bail you out of trouble and i don't know about you, but i have no financial help from family whatsoever. That being said, college is wonderful. High school was the worst 4 years of my life and now that i'm starting college my life is so less stressful. I don't worry about what crowd to fit in or what people say about me because most everybody threre act like adults. Plus there is always something going on, and usually for free too. There is more freedom and of course your parents aren't breathing down the back of your neck. It's awesome to finally be in charge of your own life.

college is a total different ball game. You have to manage your time and be responsible. You can have fun just as long as you know how to balance it with your studies. Remember you are going from a classroom of 30-50 students, to a classroom with sometimes over 100 students and a minimum of 60. If you are not careful you will end up only having a good time and back home. College is better I think though. I like my independence and I am responsible. All you have is exams in college and there is no one making you go to class either. You have to shop for food for yourself and manage money on a budget.

beware you sound like you are ready to party.

College is better, you have many more opportunities than were available in high school. The only people I know that liked high school better where the ones that didn't have the intelligence to proceed any further with their education. (In other words, dropped or got kicked out of college)

college classes could be slightly extra durable than excessive college classes, yet college would not have each and all the drama. In college there are not any "clicks" or "communities" exact (i.e. preps, jocks, etc). there is plenty much less stereotypes in college and people are plenty extra mature. I did savor excessive college, however the drama that got here with excessive college wasn't fairly worth it. Now that i'm in college it fairly is plenty extra effectual than excessive college because of the fact i will concentration on my college artwork and not could desire to concern relating to the drama like i did in HS.

I had more fun when I went to college. You don't have the peer pressure because everyone there is an adult and definately the majority of them are more mature. That in itself makes it more enjoyable. You don't have to worry about fitting in and so on and so forth. It's pretty laid back and you do have more freedom. Of course you still have to be to class on time and so on, but it's definately better than high school. My college days were THE BOMB!!!!!

College is way more fun. For me, it was a chance to get away from the drama, and to become the person I really wanted to be. I miss some of my high school friends, but I definitely wouldn't trade any of my college memories!

college is much better, unless you go to a college in your hometown and have to live at home with your folks. then, I'd say that high school and college would equally suck.
but for the most part... high school is all about cliques, fads, and shallow idiots. College is where you discover who you really are.
