Jason Smith probably spent 12 hours coming up with that bit and was so giddy that he called Bristol and wanted to brag to that Sportscenter yuckster, Linda Cohn. He really thinks he is as funny as Howard Stern (Smith's past calling restaurants to ask employees stupid sports questions was Stern before he went national) and knowledgeable like Jim Rome. It is a throwaway line by a no-talent who makes a listener wish for the return of the Todd Wright, All Night show (which was also bad, but not as pathetic as JS).

could be a good idea, but simpson was at the game when the boys beat the Pack earlier this year so i am not sure how genius it really is.
