Yeah it is a little stupid, but its newsworthy from the industrys perspective. Jamie Lynn is really popular amongst pre-teens because of her show on Nickelodeon so for them I guess its kind of scandelous. Good Morning America used the story to tell parents how to talk to their kids about sex, so they are putting a less trashy spin on it. Also, its newsworthy because for some reason this country is OBSESSED with britney and how trashy she is, so its like one more thing to add to the mess that has been Britney's year. Soooo I mean I guess for some people it is a big deal.
And of corse, there are better things to cover, but I mean... what are ya gonna do?

Well the fact that she is on Nickolodeon T.V. show Zoey 101, may have a bit to do with it, because she is a role model to younger kids, and now at age 16 she is preggers. Plus, Nick is keeping her!

i could give a rat's butt too if jamie lynn has made herself another statistic. the media loves to spread juicy gossip, thats how they make their living. its ALWAYS about money in one way or another. i'm sure her being related to Brittany Spears (one of the biggest celebrity flops out there) is the prime reason its one of the top stories.
