Do you give it...or are you more reserved so not to hurt the persons feelings?

I judge the situation. If it's not something personal about them, say about a workplace concern, I'll be totally honest. If it's something about them personally, I'll use my judgement to determine the degree of honesty I'll impart.

I'm with ya there. Some people on here are just idiotic. It is just like the people that ask a question wanting to know if..say, something is wrong or right, then give their point of view on it, and in the end pick the person that totally agrees with them, gives accolades, etc, for the best answer. What is the point of that? Why ask the question if no matter what other people say, even if it is correct, and true, you aren't going to change your mind on it? Sometimes I wonder if some people's hamsters have died, but the wheel is still spinning....

I give my honest opinion always. If someone asks me for my regular opinion it is still going to be honest. I try to approach the situation in the best way possible. Pointing out areas that could be possible flaws.

Tina if the person is someone I am close to..I must tell the truth...otherwise why would they ask me..if they found out I lied once...what would make them trust me agin...yes sometimes the truth may hurt..but by telling the truth I may help a dear friend from getting hurt and that is much more important to me...protecting those I love!

After all it is just one person's opinion and should be taken as such.

It depends sensitivity of question,and what is the intention of the question.Mostly i answer the question honestly,but some time when it smell troubles for others may be then not so open.
