I have been on the pill for about 5 months now. I just got off my regularly scheduled period about 2 weeks ago and yesterday had some spotting in the AM with heavy flow for about an hour in the afternoon and that was it. For the last month and a half I feel like Im exhausted all the time and I feel like im getting sick atleast once a week. This time, I have been sick for about a week and a half (fever and cold symptoms). I went to the doc and they checked for anemia and those sorts of things all was negative. Everyone keeps suggesting pregnancy.....could that be possible? I have had no missed period at all...and I took a pregnancy last night and it was negative. Atlease 10 people have asked if I was and now Im nervous

It sounds like a common cold- which will definitely leave you exhausted for a few weeks, especially if there is coughing or flu like symptoms. It is possible to be pregnant and still get your period but it is not likely. Go to your doctor and ask for another test.

Also, ask about a test for mono or strep- it is the season for that too.

It is most likely the pills. They made me sick to my stomach. Plus you just started them so they are finally getting into your system. Also when you went to the doctor they probably did a test and you didnt realize it. It was neg so they didnt say anything about it. Chill out you are not pregnant.

sure why not.

what did the doctor say. . .Oh, OK. . .well then how about the pregger test you took this am???

oh. . .ok, didnt do that either huh?? Next time get a blood pregger test from the Dr., that's what I had to do.

p.s. other medications (especially antibiotics) will lessen the effectiveness of the pill. . .rendering you = Preggers.

You should go back to the doctor and discuss it. It sounds to me like your body is getting adjusted to being off of the pill and your hormones are going crazy and doing strange things to your body.

Again, this is just a suggestion, you should really go back to the doctor and see what he/she thinks about possible pregnancy

If you keep acting nervous then you can mess up your cycle. The test was probably right, put it behind you and calm your thoughts down. Then your period will get back on track
