completely white with frost and black ice. Does it have to snow for the bookies to pay out on a white christmas or will extreme prolonged frost be just as good?

I just looked outside my window and all I see is freezing fog... thick fog. This is north London. However, I have just had a report that it is snowing in Holland, near the border with Germany and we are in a norther latitude than then so I think there is some conspiracy to stop snow reaching us here London on Christmas Day.
Good luck with your bet.

It has to snow on Christmas morning on the roof of the Meteorological Office in London for it to be an official white Christmas.

This question is a £50 bet too late - you should always know what you are betting on before you place a bet.

weather forecast for Christmas day is rain.

It's to get milder over the weekend

it needs to snow in a particular part of London[I think it's the MET office roof] for them to pay out

Shifty bastards are bookies (just like insurance agents) what looks like a white Christmas to you and me looks like sludge to them, so no payout - unless you are covered in 7ft of snow - therefore unable to claim.
