I'm more comfortable at 30 to 35 percent.
My friend recently had a humidifier put on his heating system. The installer told him to keep it at the 30 to 35 percent lever.

The recommended level is from 30% to 50%. The higher the humidity the warmer it will feel. For more info, check out the air quality page at my source.

Somewhere between 40 and 45 percent..to maintain proper humidity for health and to keep wood furniture from drying out.

you could go to the store and get a little humidifier. all you have to do is keep filling it up with water and it really helps. Also prevents shocking too! We have one in the living room and we were shocking each other all the time, til we got this little gem! really helps!
