i am going on holiday to france snowboarding and i have size 12 boots,should i hire a wide or standard brd?

Different length boards and different manufacturers vary on how wide the board is at the waist, but as a general rule if you have 11.5 or larger you need a wide board. I would go with a wide rental just to be sure since you probably don't know exactly what you are renting.
