I think it's unfair for People that work and pay Taxes

Do you mean the people who's jobs have been outsourced to India? Or perhaps the ones who were replaced by lower paid illegal immigrants? Or the Human Services workers which have have lost jobs due to their Agency's budgets being cut so more money can go into the Military operations?

Why does the government give money away around the world? Why does the government lose billions of dollars in foreign countries? Why do people in America resent their own people receiving money, but support a government that spreads taxpayer's money around the world? We made millionaires in the Viet Nam government & now we are doing the same thing in Iraq! A lot of foreigners live the good life at the expense.of the American taxpayer.

That is one of the easiest concept that exist and it has been explained in every way or form possible, and you people still don't get it. I'm just going to say, it helps the same way corporate welfare works. It sustain things alive.
If you lose your job and you paid taxes wouldn't you like a way that the taxes paid by you help you?

Lol. Of course it is. The working people pay more in taxes also. (the rich and poor taketh from the government. I have more of a problem with the rich.)

You ask why?
Because we voted it in. We asked for it to happen. We voted in affirmative action, welfare, minimum wage increases, we ask them to take away our rights with feux pas like Homeland Security, our votes beg for more benefits for the needy, which give the needy even more reason to be needy . . . . it's a regular career now to be a single mother and pop out babies for a living. The more babies, the bigger the welfare checks.
And if you didn't vote for any of these, you most certainly voted for the legislators that put them in motion.
It does not good to say "That's not what we meant" - any good cause can be perverted for the benefits of the few.
That's why.

Rediculas question based on the facts. Tax dollars do not pay for any program, they pay the Interest for the funds the government barrows each and every year in order for them to operate.
