I know someone who leaves hers up long enough to hide Easter eggs in it!! lol

maybe a week or 2 later usually,but this year earlier as im pushed for space.And i have pulled the tree out 2 year ago and decorated eggs and hung them on the tree for easter,with all the kids in our street.They loved it.they were younger+easier to amuse then.cheers :) lol.

I don't really have a set time that I take it down. I love looking at the tree w/ all its lights on in the dark even after Christmas. Probably sometime late January. If I kept it up until Easter it would drive me nuts. The kids insist on tinsel & by then I get tired of picking that stuff up. Plus I live in an apartment & had to take some things out of the living room to make room for the tree & I will be ready for the things to be back in the living room before too long.

Just got ours up last night.
It'll probably be up until well after the first of the year!
Guess we'll be hiding Easter Eggs together, eh? LOL

Sometimes until after Easter, when I have an artificial one. Real ones, New Year's Day. But, sometimes with the fake tree, I put Valentines on it and then Easter decorations. It's fun.

I celebrate Christmas, and we decorate our house, but I think chopping down a tree and sticking it in your living room is overkill (and too expensive) So we just cut out a Christmas Tree shaped piece of green wrapping paper, tape it to the wall, and put our presents at the bottom :D Lol, sometimes we even make little paper ornaments!

We take ours down a couple days after Christmas-- or the first free day that we get. This year Christmas is on Tuesday so we probably won't get a chance to take our tree down until Saturday the 29th.

Well we put it up on Thanksgiving and it usually stays up until New Years Day. But my son started walking this year and I have been chasing him away from the tree. So this year it will come down December 26th.

if i get my way usually take it down the day after christmas or even christmas night i hate a tree with no presents under it
