i bought an ipod video (5th gen) about two months ago
and then i found out apple release the ipod classic for the same price i got my ipod video and is has twice the memory
apple sucks

that sucks so im just gonna get the ipod touch. at least you CAN listen to music unlike a lot of people who don't even have an ipod at all

it's just like buying a new car...you buy a new one and the next year there will be a better one. you know that next year there will be a new and better car model...but you buy the one you want now instead. ipod...same thing. you know Apple will make a better model, but you buy what you want now because you don't want to wait for the new model.

The exact damn thing happened to me too :(
I bought mine in august, and in now look. 80 gig for 230 when I got my 30 gig for 278 :( :(
