Over the course of our lives we make mistakes. With those mistakes we learn and grow. I know for myself every mistake I have made, I have strived to become a better person from those mistakes. I still have my problems and I have a much longer road to travel to solve those issues. But I know that the road that I take will be better with you there at my side. You complete the circle in which I call my life. We have started a family and slowly over time have started to grow as a couple. Wife, you make my life better and I love you.

But my question is this….is love ever lasting, can it really stand the test of time ?

I think that those answers are really good..

But I think your wife would really just appreciate being appreciated for all of the colours of her soul.. Embrace all of the prismatic colours and allow her to glisten and shine with all her faults, glory and beloved cherished that she has for you...

I think you're wife is one of the luckiest women on the face of the planet..(When you aren't being a MAN) -grins-

You're wife loves you and that's seen through your words..

With the caring and kindness you show I would have to say yes! Love is eternal so long as you remember to keep that way. Remember to love, cherish and comfort her everyday. Time is the ocean and beats at the stone of love on the sand of life, does the sand give way to the waves of the ocean of course but the stone will stand the waves and face each day renewed.....

Wow! I loved wild orchid's answer. If I could only learn how to forgive... I think love can withstand anything, but not the love most of us know. Only sublime -God-like- divine love, not flawed human love.

Yes, love can withstand the test of time - but it takes work, commitment, communication, understanding, forgiveness and most of all willingness to make it.

She'd probably appreciate a card and flowers instead of being cheap and professing your undying commitment here.
