Nothing its legal to fire someone for suspected theft. Also in an "at will" environment (all states but Montana) an employer may fire anyone for any reason or no reason long as it violates no law. Your firing violated no such laws

Look for a new job.

Virtually ALL States are "employment at will", which means you can be fired for any reason not specifically prohibited by law.

Mere 'suspicion' of theft is quite enough to legally fire you. You have no legal recourse, UNLESS you are covered by some sort of written employment contract, such as a Union CBA that gives you additional rights.
