babysitter please others will have Paid good money to enjoy the meal. There is nothing worse than the sound of somebody else's baby crying when you have paid to enjoy a meal out with someone

Order in. For us, it was always easier to stay home when the baby was really young so when we had "date nights" we would order in (you can often even order from the restaurant you were going to go out to), set the table up nice and have a quiet dinner at home. Finish off the evening with a movie (and a cuddle with all three of you on the couch) and you'll have a better night than ever going out.

Personally, I'd take the baby with me. I have never left my son with a sitter and he's 5 1/2 months old.

Is your mom or mil in town? I had my mom watch my daughter for a couple hours so we could go to dinner. You could bring her with you, there's no harm in doing that. I personally wouldn't leave him with a sitter.

bring the baby with you, he will probably sleep thru the meal. I wouldnt leave him alone with a Non family-sitter. Maybe grandma is in town?

Take him with you. I went out to eat a lot when my daughter was a baby. I usually kept her tucked in her sling and she would just snooze or nurse through the meal.

can you leave him with your mom, or his daddys mom, it might make you feel more secure. if you dont feel comfortable leaving him, then maybe postpone dinner for another week or two. good luck! x
