Get a 600watt pwr supply at 70% efficiency which most have that gives you 420watts continuous. And who Knows you may add a few perpetuals later.

People seem to neglect their power supply they should look at the efficency rating and buy the size they need from that.

OH I have never seen a 2700 rpm sata hdd.

Have a good day

That does seem a little low, however I did a calculation with what you gave on several sites and they indicated 313Ws of power. I think there is also a little bit of loss of Wattage via transfer, dirtypower etc from your house, the best bet would be a overage of 50-75W just in case. Also the price jump from a 300W to a 400W should be miniscule.

I have a SLI Dual core athlon running 4 80mm with LEDS fans, 2 DVD roms, 2 cold cathodes and a Zalman Cooler along with 2 7200RPM sata raptor drives along with 4 GB of ram on a Fatal1ty board and I use a 500W ps for expandibility. Usually in choosing a PS you need to look for expandibility and number of plugs. The more you run Y-splitters on those plugs will determine how much powerful of a PS you really need. You shouldn't be running mutiple Y-splitters for power. I make a rule to only use 1 splitter per connector, anything more and you start pushing the PS over its limit. Also you didnt mention video card and whether you are going to OC. if so add another 50-100W of power just in case.

Its not so much the power of the PSU but the brand. Antec makes some nice power supplies. I use a 600 watt one. The PSU has 2 fans one on inside and one on the outside. My setup is very similar to yours. I have 3 500 gigs HD and one DVD player and 4 500 gig external drives.

The 300 watts required is a minimum. I would go with at least a 500 watt unit.
