I don't see the women dropshotting that often. I know Serena tries (usually unsuccessfully) but I think Hingis had the best and most effective drop shot in the womens game. Martina has hit so many great dropshots I can't recall anyone better.

On the mens side their are a few men great at it. Nadal, Djokovic and Murray have among the best drop shots in the game. Roger rarely uses this shot and none of the American men even know how to do it. I think Murray goes for this shot too often but it is used in tandem with his lob so at least he has a reason to use it. I like Nadal's the best though as he uses his angles well as setups for this shot. Djokovic misses too often.

mauresmo- she has a greatatacking dropshot, she pretends she is going to hit a hard forhand approach but then slice-dropshots the ball at a hard angle. if they manage to get it, shes at the net and waiting for a weak reply.

federer- just class! his drop volley is a classic, at an angle and just pops over the net, its a hard one to return.

I do :) I actually haven't been keeping up with the pros lately. But I still think I have a pretty good dropshot.

Federer has the best and he has done so many times even
from the baseline. Very few can better what he can do.

On the women side, Hingis did a lot and she had a canny game
and never knew when her drop shots were coming....
