Happy Holidays if I am talking about Christmas and New Years, but I mostly just say Merry Christmas. After all Jesus is the reason for the season....

Merry Christmas of course.

It is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, even though the modern version has turned it into a time of overspending and greed in many cases.

My family and I prefer to spend time together to celebrate. We do give gifts to the children, but the adults celebrate the true reason for the season for us.

Have a Merry Christmas.

I usually say Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. I wouldn't be offended at all if someone said Happy Hanukah or Happy Kwanza or any other greeting that celebrated what they are celebrating. If you don't believe in any of the things that are being celebrated, just say Happy Holidays. People should learn to add their celebrations together, not tear the others down. Melting pot...not broth!

i say both. if i'm speaking to someone i see often, i will usually say Merry Christmas [as i'll most likely see them before the next holiday] but if i'm writing to a relative far away, i wish them Happy Holidays.

I always say Merry Christmas, whether or not a person has a religion. Because when I think of Christmas I think of a time of happiness, joy, and just merriment.

I say Merry Christmas, even though I got told off in Target last year for telling someone Merry Christmas...they weren't Christians and they told me I was forcing religion on them. Oh well. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
