How do you get gum from your polyester-elastic???

There is gum on my polyester-elastic pants. I have already washed it and all that is left behind is some sticky colored, gross stuff. What works?

rub it with ice and it will ball up and you can pull it off...or rubbing alachol ...

goo gone on rub on both sides
as you rub the gum will come off

toss them in the freezer for 1/2 hr brush it out,
