Doesn't this video remind you of the movie "The Fog".

That reminds of me of the urban legend the hitchiker.... not paranormal :) the video anyways.... you could tell they made it up into a movie :) plus why would they randomly be filming when driving ya know especially that great of a Coincidence if something like that was to really happen why would they just post it on youtube *sighs* ;) , they did edit it at 2 min marker good observation "shop" ...

Update:

in the info in the corner , it said it was fake read guys!!!:
"No, it's NOT real :p See http://www.acurva.net/index2.php for more info. I cut a few minutes out of the video since the original version had five (or so) minutes in which nothing happend"

I think it's wonderful that Urban Legends have made it to the Internet in video form (link below).
I strongly suggest the book "The Vanishing Hitchhiker" by Jan Harold Brunvand.
Any competent paranormal investigator or parapsychological researcher should be well versed in Urban Legends not only the specific stories but the characteristics common to all Urban Legends.

Let me put it this way, there's no reason to conclude it must be real. It doesn't "feel" real to me either, since I can't figure out why there is a person in the car filming for no apparent reason. Also, in the car crash you would have heard the camera impact which would create a definite loud thwack in the recording, but you don't hear that at all. Seems to suggest the crash sound was dubbed in.

First of all, in the description, the person wrote "no it's not real, see http://www.acurva.net/index2.php" This tells it all.
This is a staged production. It was not intended to be real, just intended to look like a real recording.
Its a story. Its presented in this way to make it more creepy, and it was very creepy. But like I said, read the description.

This video is an amateur dramatization of an urban myth. Seriously, who video tapes themselves driving down the road at night?

The crash reproduction was pretty decent though.

I've heard this tale since I was a kid. My mom told it to me and she heard it from her grandmother. It's called an urban legend. Using todays technology Anyone can film Anything. It doesn't make it real or factual.
