Stimulating your nipples is the only thing that causes a hormone change in your body that induces labor.
rub or tweak them for 20 minutes at a time every hour until labor kicks in full force or your water breaks.
It WILL work, I promise. Its just like getting induced at the hospital, except it takes longer. Its how I delivered my son, I was not dilating and after 37 1/2 hours of labor they had me do this to get my pushing done... took another 6 hours but it worked.

With my 3rd, a friend told me to eat fresh pineapple. I thought it was silly. Especially since I am a labor nurse and know better. But I was desperate and I tried it. The next day I went into labor. There is an enzyme in fresh pineapple (apparently) that triggers labor...
Coincidence? I don't know, but it is worth a try.

I was almost 2 weeks overdue with my first child and it seemed like nothing I did helped and that two weeks felt the longest two weeks of my life...unfortunately you just have to wait it out...the baby will come when it is ready even though I know you must want it over and done with!! If you go longer than 10 to 14 days now though your doctor will induce you for the well being of both your child and you.

Some people say the prostaglandins in a mans semen can help induce labour but if it were that easy no-one would go past their due date :-)
There are lots of 'old wives tales' that advise you how to induce labour, but I'm afraid that basically they are just that....old wives tales. You just have to wait it out; baby will come when good and ready and not before. Hopefully you will deliver any day now.
Take care and good luck.

I'm afraid that the baby will come when it's ready!! My wife was 13 days over with our first and 9 days over with our second - she tried everything but nothing worked. In the end her midwife did a membrane sweep with the second and that worked - it didn't work with our first baby though.
I hope everything goes well for you and your baby :)
