Please contact the BT hub manufacturer's technical department, or log onto their support website and see if you can locate information there specific to their hardware.

I am unsure what steps you have taken to this point, and which help pages you read and tried to follow on the Microsoft websites. However, here is some information, if you alread viewed it sorry for the repeat:

There are actually not any compatibility themes with any router to any OS. The router (abode hub) is a standalone, and does not use application on the device. there may well be problems with compatibility contained in the instantaneous card drivers. in case you used the setup disk for the router uninstall the BT application, in case you used the USB to set it up it is substantial. in any different case this application makes it impossible to play with settings on your connection. Use the instantaneous application provided alongside with your card to hunt on your community, set the encryption (frequently sixty 4 bit WEP for abode hub) and then connect. This often creates a profile which saves the settings. the prevalent public community has a various key, it quite is often on the hub decrease than the deepest key. The BT hub is designed to remake this is connection if it encounters any issues, attempting a various velocity each and every time. this would proceed for as much as two weeks from the set up till it reveals the main suitable velocity. Any powering down or re-placing for the duration of a style of re-connections can start up the finished 2 week cycle from scratch. If the themes persist, verify for as much as date drivers on your card.
