I swelled ALOT with my pregnancy so 30 lbs of the 50 I gained while pregnant was water weight!!!! (thank god) so I had a c-section and was in the hospital for a week after birth and by the time I left my swelling was gone and I was 30 lbs lighter! Although the other 20 lbs not so easy. I have slowly been losing about 3 lbs a month or every other month, but I only execise when I have time, like 2 times a week. Although the other time I am running around like crazy. My son is going to be 9 months on the 31st and I have lost about 13 of the 20. Still can't button my pre pregnancy jeans with out a body shaper on though but oh well I'm still dropping sizes! Hope I helped a lil with what you were asking!

You start to lose weight immediately! I got home from the hospital and stepped on the scale and saw I lost 20 pounds. As far as the rest of it goes, it's up to you. You could take anywhere from a few months to a few years to lose that baby weight.

Losing weight all depends on your genetics and your lifestyle. I found that it took me nearly a year to get back into shape from my first. But it's taken me much longer with my second. Some of my friends bounced back in a few months, some others will never look like they did before.

It depends on the woman. Some NEVER lose the weight (sorry, but it's true). If you breastfeed, you will lose the weight much faster! I lost all of mine in about 3 months while breastfeeding.

it took my sister 15 months to lose the 30 pounds she gained.

it all depends on how much you want to lose and how fast your body loses weight.

It varies. Believe it or not, I actually lost all my pregnancy WEIGHT by my two week check-up. That being said, the flab that was left........ I still have it.... And, I am seven months pregnant with my second child.

It took a full year to loose all my weight, but my body never went back to pre-prego shape....
