I know 1st playoff game for the san diego chargers will be held at home on jan5- or 6 2008. But I was wondering if the AFC championship game will be held at san diego .... If there is a possibility. Because if there is I will just wait and purchase those tickets instead of the 1st playoff game.

There's no way of knowing this until we find out which 2 teams are playing in the AFC Championship game...

San Diego would have to win the Wild Card Round...then they would go to Indy...they would have to beat Indy at the RCA Dome.....then, on the other end of the Bracket, Either Pittsburgh/Jacksonville will have to go into New England and beat the Pats in the Divisional game, then the AFC Championship game will be in San Diego....but if I were a Chargers fan...I would just root for a AFC Championship game....no matter where it is....because it is HIGHLY unlikely that it will be in SD.

The AFC Championship game will be held in Gillette Stadium if New England continues its dominance of the rest of the league.

Well if the Patriots are in it. The game will automatically be held at Foxboro MA.
By the way the game will only be held at Sandiago if its the Chargers vs a Wild Card team

If the Pats goes on the way, it will be Gillette Stadium because the Pats has home field advantage thru out the playoff.

No... it will be held at Gillette because the Patriots have no chance of going one and done in the playoffs. I guess anything can happen though, but I say Gillette Stadium... THE RAZOR! GO PATS!
