I mean for example.. what's the first thing you'll do if you buy a piece of land? fence it... right?
That's becoming a concept everywhere.. even our north coast and now slowly the east coast... fences... fences ... even around the whole country.. doesn't that make you feel kind of trapped? annoyed?

I would say we like to use fences because it keeps unwelcome people out. If I see a house without a fence I would tend to think that no one lives there, or if someone does he or she does not care about the property. If vandals see a house without a fence they are more likely to vandalize that house than the one with a fence.

Fences also show people the exact dimensions of your property. This will keep them away from trasspassing on your lawn.

dont feel that way, bec fencing keeps those who grab what belongs to others.
i had a piece of land. a man placed a kiosk in a corner and started selling drinks , chocolate , etc. when i wanted to build a house on my land, he wouldnt move.
it was a problem that took time and effort to be solved.
so, we have to proect our belongings from gangs .

Not for me.
Fencing is to keep people out of your the owner property and saying "hey look here, this is my land"..... It's the owners land and they can do what ever they want. And personally i feel more protected.

I like my privacy.

If you had a neighbor like my old one,b4 we moved you would do everything you could to cover their back yard. Weeds taller than the lawn mower handle sitting in the middle of the grass. Dog pooh, toys you name it, it's in the yard.

land - to stop jippos (gypsies/travellers/scumbags) parking up
house back garden - to create your own boundary, you own it so mark out the territory.

also stops wild animals roaming in etc etc
there is loads of answers, what a dumb question.
if fences annoy you, man you got issues!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, keeps my neighbors dog alive by keeping him out of my yard. And it also lets me know exactly what I own.

i suppose it could be for a feeling of protection. how would you feel know that just anybody could wander up to your home at night? i would be a little creeped out.
