Is there anyway you can request a band to come to your area?

So, for example, led zeppelin is planning to go on a 18 month world tour. Is there a good chance they would come to my state of kentucky.
-like in the louisville metro area or lexington?

You need to find a promoter willing to put on the show in your area. Generally, they are the ones who take the risk...They agree to pay the band $X and Y% of the ticket sales. They'll only do this if they think they can sell the tickets to recoup the money that's paid out.

You can, depending on the band, usually over their myspace page. I've seen alot of stuff like that there.

don't know only thing i can suggest is post a comment on their website and if there is plenty of people suggesting the same venue they would have to take notice
