we used to have a restaurant and it's easy - salt and crushed ice - works like a charm and I have no idea why.

believe it or not any kind of de-greaser takes the stains off of coffee pots. Not sure why this works but it does. Also the denture cleaners work. You can soak a coffee pot with bleach water, rinse well...then try the degreaser and you'll see how much more it gets out. So I just use degreaser and rinse well.

Run vinegar through the coffee pot, yes heating it too. It will stink, but it will clean the coffee stains you dont see out of your machine and out of the pot (you still may have to scrub a lil).

I never could get coffee stains out of my coffee carafes by scrubbing with a pad. But scrubbing with a little bit of baking soda works beautifully.

Try baking soda. Wet it just enough to make a paste, and scrub away the stains. No harmful chemicals to be concerned with.

Just put them in the dishwasher once in a while. We rinse ours out after every use, but only wash it when it's really dirty. The coffee mugs get the same treatment. Isn't that what a dishwasher is for?.

You can fill it with Coca-Cola and let it sit for a while. The acid in the Coke will eat away at the coffee residue.

White vinegar also works, just soak it and the stains should come off! Good luck!

Put two tablespoons of automatic dishwasher detergent in them with very hot water and soak. Be sure to wash them with regular soap and water and rinse VERY well!
