I know it is not a paperback, nor a pamphlet. There is proper name for this booklet in printing.

Hi Helen,

I'm not sure that it would have a different name just because it was stapled or sewn. I looked at a website that has a lot book terminology and they are still referred to as a book or pamphlet. If it only has a few pages it could be considered a booklet. Could you possibly be thinking of a chapbook? Are there any other distinguishing characteristics?

You might be looking for the term "saddle stitched."
