I'm studying outside the US, but I'm planning to get a job back there. Do i still need to study again there in US to be allowed to take the professional licensure examination?

I'm an electrical eng'g student. Actually I'm only a sophomore, but I'm getting worried on what's going to happen to me when I go back to the states.

Thanks. .

You need to look up the board that provides the licensure in your field to know what their requirements are. In many cases, your training abroad will be sufficient, but that is not the case in all fields. In any case, you would not have to redo your training, but fulfill only the additional requirements of the licensing board in the U.S.
