Post Script

...but let's be honest? How many times have you wanted to use P.A.S. instead? I use it sometimes just for sh*ts n' giggles.

P.A.S. = Pay Attention Stupid LOL ;-)

Everyone always asks me what it means.

It means Post Script. It was often used to mention an afterthought or something that the writer forgot to mention in the body of the letter or just 'words of love.' You have to keep in mind that before computers there was no 'cut & paste.' The only way to add information to a completed letter was to add it afterwards. However, I have no idea who the person was who decided to precede this information with the letters 'P.S.'

While a P.S. should never be necessary today with computers, if you want to make a point and have the reader remember it, put it in a post script. Everyone reads the post script and it usually will be the first thing the reader remembers about your message or letter.

P.S. stands for Post Script, when you want to enter something that you forgot to put in your letter (or body).
