also i was crazy and got married on the 30 of dec,,
so i usually get one big gift from all my relatives,.

It is fair and un fair at the same time. If your family doesnt have alot of money then getting one big gift instead of three smaller gifts might be the only way they can cover all of their bases. If they have a lot of money then it could be seen as a little unfair. My older brothers b-day is almost exactly a month after christmas so when our money gets tight we get him a big gift at christmas and then just have all of the family up on his birthday for dinnerand cake.

my birthday is on the 25... yes christmas day. Its very cramped and sometimes people will give me the warmest Merry Christmas but forget my birthday since its so hectic. But they remember it any other day of the year since its so easey to remember. But i get christmas presents under the tree and birthday presents on the couch (i usually get 5 big things for my bday) But the 23rd? interesting... u get ur presents, then 2 days later more.. i wouldnt totally appreciate them as much, but that already happens to me lol!

I guess that is up to each individual and family. If you want your birthday separate, then tell your family. Make it a special occasion
to remember each year. As for the anniversary that is really between your husband and yourself. But if the family does buy a gift, that is sweet. Does it really matter that it is one gift or two, it is the thought that counts, right? Be glad your family remembers and can afford to get the gift/gifts for you, and your husband.

My son's birthdays are about a week after Christmas and since they are going to be 4 and 2 this year, they get Christmas gifts and birthday gifts until they get older then maybe one big gift. When I say older I mean maybe junior high school until then they'll get Christmas and Birthdays. :-)

My birthday is December 23rd too.
Sometimes, if the gift is something big, it's a combo, which is understandable.
I usually get gifts for both. My grandmother was big on making sure I never got gypped.

no its not but sorry that would not be fun i have a friend whos b day is on christmas day and i feel bad 4 her so i always get her 2 gift i in brithday wrapping paper and 1 in christmas wrapping so HAPPY B DAY AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
