The Colts have the best chance of beating the Patriots, they are the second best team in the NFL. The Colts have played well recently with the Patriots and this years AFC Championship game should no different.

Yes I do. Their defense is playing even better then last year, and if they still had Dwight Freeney healthy they would be even more competitive. I think that they have enough talent to at least slow down the Patriots if they focus on preventing the deep ball to Moss. But the big reason the Colts can hang with the Pats is their offensive weapons. Which other quarterback in the history of the NFL would you rather have to get into a shootout with Brady? Which other quarterback in the NFL today has a comparable compliment of receiving targets to Brady's? Anthony Gonzalez, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Ben Utecht, and Joseph Addai are all good receivers, plus Indy has a decent ground game when they hand the ball off to Addai or Kenton Keith, both of whom have turned in some elite performances on the ground this year. Right now, I think the Colts have very quietly had the best year of anyone in the NFL. Yeah, the Pats have a better record, but take a look at the depth chart of the Colts and see how many key injuries they've had, and yet they are 12-2!!! That is a testament to Tony Dungy's coaching ability and the character and makeup of this Colts team. If anyone has a shot at taking down the Brady Bunch, it's the Colts.

Yes, they definitely have a chance. No team is completely unbeatable. The Colts are defintely a solid team. Both teams are a little beat up on both sides of the ball. You're making assumptions though. Neither one of those two teams have made it to the AFC Championship yet. Yeah, they are the favorites. But let's face some hard facts here. They're both going to have to face some tough teams to get there. It's likely that one of them is going to have to play the Jaguars (who are very dangerous right now) and the other will likely be playing the Browns or the Chargers. I don't mean to count Pittsburgh out, but they look pretty limp right now. They struggled to slow down the Mighty Rams last night, and they've struggled their last few games, granted two of them were against the Patriots and Jaguars.
The bottom line here is that ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs. I know we'll ALL be disappointed if this happens, but we COULD have an AFC championship the does not include either of them.

The Colts prolly have the best chance to beat the Pats out of anyone in the playoffs.
They'll need to play a great game to win in Foxboro in January tho, the Pats don't lose there this time of the year very often. Should be a great game.

Not only do they have a chance, but I think they will, cold weather favors the teams with good running offenses, the Steelers just lost their running back but the Colts have an excellent runner in Addai, the Patriots on the other hand depend on the pass for all their scoring,Peyton Manning will not make the same mistakes twice

A chance? sure. A good chance? no.
Bill knows how to scheme against manning, and he always gets turnovers from him. I dont think the Pats will beat them by some unbelievable amount, but they will win rather easily. Also, you have to consider, Patriots fans want to return the favor from the colts who pumped in crowd noise during teh first game, so expect it be loud when the colts have the ball.

If they can get healty enough, the colts have a serious shot at ridding the playoffs of the evil empire... I'd rather see the Colts in the super bowl again than the Patriots... Especially if it's against The 'Boys!

Yes, they do. They are both great teams and the same question was being asked last year. It was a close game when they played the first time. I don't think the Pats will go 19-0. They will lose.

Sure, but they will need to bring their 'A' game. A Colts-Pats remake could be the best game of the year, and the winner will almost certainly win the SB.
