No, I am a very good pet owner. In fact, I have someone trying to give my their dog because they know I'd take really good care of him. I kind of want him though. I have had fish die on me, but I checked the ph level and all the other levels including metals and minerals, sometimes they are older than we realize. I did let some walking stick bugs die because I neglected to feed them. They sure have a lot of babies. I had to euthanize a fish once. Poor little guy, just HAD to put it out of it's misery. I put a dog, a cat and a parrot to sleep. It was time. Very sad, but you have to do what you have to do. It was selfish of me to keep them any longer in that condition. I used to help a wildlife rehabber with her orphaned skunks. Wow! Talk about adorable! I loved those little tykes! Do you think my rescue efforts make up for those three bugs?

I'm not RESPONSIBLE for any deaths. But I've had a few pets who have died. About 8 goldfish, 5 gerbils, a ferret, a mouse and a rabbit who ran away after my neighbour left her cage open and I assume is dead by now.
My mum is responsible for the mouse's death, though. She left him in the yard one day so he could get some sun, and forgot about him overnight :(

Oh gosh. I don't know if I'm directly responsible for it, but my 3 koi carps died suddenly about a year ago. And then there was the beta fish that got eaten by another one. And my hermit crab that pegged it when I was a kid. But mostly it's my other relatives who do the killing (accidentally, of course -- we don't even eat animals, so there's no way we'd murder one intentionally). My grandmother killed one zebra danio and two budgies by forgetting to feed them, and a cat by feeding it the wrong thing!

At least 10 pets, most of them MIA....
1 was the victim of involuntary manslaughter (my favorite pet)
I like to think that fish flushed down the toilet live, (again?)...I think a goldfish may have died under my watch.
