I just read one of Jack B's blog entries and it brought back some memories about people that are no longer here with me on Earth. Here's one, but they are all favorites.
My cousin Edward, 2 days older than me and my closest friend and ally. He was shot and killed 12 years ago, and I miss him every single day. I was the brain and he was the brawn. His words. We spent so much of our lives together, doing all kinds of crazy sh!t, laughing and learning together. I never imagined he would not be a part of my life always. I guess my favorite memory about him is when we took off on his dirt bike, no, that's not the best one. I can't do this, but thanks for the opportunity to try.

I was really bummed out about some stuff my first Christmas home from college and my best friend said he was coming to pick me up and that he was going to show me something that would cheer me up. He was very mysterious about the whole thing and it even got a bit creepy once he started driving into some areas I'd never even heard of before. We got out of the car and started hiking up a hill talking about all the junk that I thought was sooo important at the time and then he said "look". We had climbed to the edge of a cliff that overlooked a very small secluded beach. There was a small trail that led to a tiny ledge just big enough for 2 people. We sat there and just listened to the waves hit the side of the cliff. Soon, the sun began to set and for the first time in many, many months... I felt like I could really breathe.

I asked this too.
Mine was this super awesome rock concert I went to a year ago. The people there were so nice and all these people were telling me I rock and I was hot because I'm the only girl crowd surfing and headbanging on stage.
