The show starts airing the second half of season four on January 4th (in the US). It has been renewed for a fifth season, which will air a few months after season four ends. It's unfortunately unlikely that Ford will appear again. The last episode left the slight possibility that he was still alive but it also implied that he didn't survive. Ford will not be in season four or five, sorry.

well Sci-Fi, has announced there will be a fifth season and it will start recording it in early 2008. usually shows tape about two to three months before they air. as for will Ford return, Francks, felt that the character was underused and would be better if he left the series. it seems unlikely that he will return as a regular cast member. since he hasn't been seen since the hive ship incident, a doubt he survived.
