I know they put the same thing that's causing the ailment into the medication. But what exactly IS IT?

Let's say it's a remedie for hypothyroidism. What did they put in it?

Thanks!

There is no short answer to this question.......it would take a lot of explanation. Best go to: abchomeopathy.com where there is a detailed description of how they are made and how they are subscribed. Bottom line, homeopathy treats the whole person, not just the condition. and......they are not made of water.
I've used subscribed homeopathic remedies with great success.

Two things you can try, which should clean it up after the first treatment, if done right. Take the juice out of a Garlic, then rub the juice into the boil, do not rinse off or use a strong Calendula flower tea as a compress for a hour. The Homeopathy did not cause the Boil! Probably to much of something in your diet or not keeping the area clean. Sometimes Zinc will help but be sure to balance it with copper. (small amount of copper will balance the Zinc)

The idea behind homeopathic medicine as I understand it, is to use small amounts of any given ingredient. So instead of using the full dose you use a quarter of the dose and let your body do the rest. The idea being the less is better.

Iodine is an essential element that enables the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones.

Three iodine molecules are added to make T3 (triiodothyronine), and four for T4 (thyroxine) -- the two key hormones produced by the thyroid gland -- so iodine is essential to the production of these two hormones of the master gland of metabolism.

One needs the proper amount of iodine for optimal thyroid function.

A severe iodine deficiency can cause hypothyroidism, and even developmental brain disorders and severe goiter. Less severe iodine deficiency is linked to hypothyroidism, thyroid enlargement (goiter) and hyperthyroidism. At the other end of the spectrum, excessive iodine intake -- both severe and moderate -- is also associated with hypothyroidism and goiter.

Iodine Deficiency

There are many areas around the world where soils are deficient in iodine, and iodine must be added to the diet -- usually through iodized salt.

All doctors were homeopathic until around 1950. Then the chemical doctors took over because the government and the medical profession decided around 1929 to change the structure of medical care. It is now a management of symptoms until the immune system can handle the illness. pre 1950s the doctor tried to CURE the disease in other more natural ways. IE: Heartburn was cured by stopping eating what ever gave you heartburn. Now you keep eating the food and take an antacid.

The name of remedy for Hypothyroidism is THYROIDINUM.
And what do they put in it is what you actually want to know. They initially put in it DRIED THYROID GLAND of the SHEEP. Then they do a series of delutions which is not usual delutions but under a process called succession or potentization. At the end as many people say including learnt Kalos Orisate there remains only the solvent (alcohol or water ) plus the EFFECT of thyroid gland. That effect is not detectable by any equipment invented for anslysing so far. It is only human / animal body which detects and gets the effect or benefit of the medicine. How the effect remains in the remedy when there is no trace of original ingredient--is a myth not yet properly solved or answered.

Similarly Apis is another Homeopathic medicine, it ia a cure fore insect bite, skin itching and othr skin irritations. It is made using honey bee poison. Live hony bees are subjected to irritation ( to make them maximum angry ) then immersed in alcohol for calculated number of days. And then the usual process starts.

Belladonna is another commenly used medicine in HP for lot of ailments. It is made using leaves of a perennial plant ' Deadly Night Shade'. In Arsenicum Album another usefull
HP remedy arsenious acid is used. By giving these details I wanted to say that HP remedies are made from minerals, plants and from animals. They are not just water.

It is not placebo effect that cures as some people say. Proof is why infents and animals get cured by homeopathic remedies. Can any one give answer to it. Take care, remain happy and healtyh.

Most are 100% distilled water.

The concept was "like treats like" so an herb that caused symptoms similar to the disease symptoms was used. The medicine is then is diluted hundreds of times until there is only a single molecule left in a vat of remedy.

With hypothyoidism, you gain weight, feel tired and cold and have a low heart rate. So a homeopathic treatment would use substances that cause weight gain and fatigue.

It's irrelevant what substance was added originally to the homeopathic remedy because after the amount of times they dilute it, it's statistically impossible that even one molecule of it remains. Therefore, when you pay big bucks for homeopathic medicine, you can be assured that it's just water.

Homeopathy is not evidence based medicine, any curative properties are due to the placebo effect. While this may not be a popular idea, it is true. Your question illustrates this perfectly. How can you put 'insufficient thryoid hormone'' in a bottle and sell it? Even if you took a remedy, it's doubtul the 'prescriber' could even give you a good biochemical explanation of its effectiveness.

They do a voodoo dance over a bottle of water. Seriously, that's pretty much it. The pills are sugar that had this voodoo water evaporate of of it.
