About 14 to 15. Nothing flashy though, just a subtle tinted lip gloss or low profile shade.

There's no age bar these days for girls in putting lip sticks. Some start doing so right from early teens. Most of the girls are not allowed by their parents to do so before 16--18.

They begin wearing lip gloss at the ages 8-10. And nowadays not that many people were lipstick unless its a very special occasion. And even then its a very light shade.

ew, no one wears lip stick now. As for lip gloss, you could do that at like 9 or 10. Eye and face makeup should come a little later.

I think first time I put lip gloss on was when I was 11. But I remember having lipstick toys since I was like 4 or 5 maybe. I never like lipstick, so I stayed with lipgloss. ^_^

I know of a lot of girls who start wearing make-up as young as 5th grade if not younger. I would say the appropriate age would be between 13 and 15.

Young girls usually wear lip gloss. I guess we start wearing lipstick near 16 or 17.

I let my daughter go lightly with makeup when she entered 7th grade.
She has always gone on the softer side with her make up because I explained to her that Make up at her age is a priveledge and if she goes too much with it her Daddy will pull the plug on ANY makeup.
Besides, I knew that a high percentage of 7th grade girls put on make up at school each morning and remove it in the bathroom at school before they go home. I though it better to help her with it than have her rebell on us.
p.s. Every girl wants to feel beautiful. Tell her she is beautiful.

um, not exactly lip stick, but LIP GLOSS. and i should just come about when a little girl wants it. i have a little cousin who puts on lip gloss. shes 8yrs old, but she only puts it on when shes at her house and the gloss is clear or light pink. nothing too much. but if your talking about putting it on at school...i think about 10 yrs or so would be the right age. remember...LIP GLOSS not stick!!
