I don't. I just simply HATE all the phony advertising buy buy buy overdraw your bank account and the credit cards greed around Christmas. Jesus Christ was not even born in December, so whats to celebrate anyhow ? He was supposedly born in the spring. No one "hates" Jesus; we just hate all the hype around his un-birthday. Along with the unspoken law that everyone must love everyone else at Christmas, which is not true in the first place and is forgotten the other 11 months of the year. We liberals don't hate Christmas or Christ any more than ALL conservatives love the President and his policies. We do hate the crass commercialism and the fact that underpaid salesclerks are working all night long in many stores, missing time with their own families. All to make the corporate pigs fatter. And where is Christ in this, I ask?

I'm Liberal and my immediate family is Liberal as well as most of my extended family. And believe me I have a very large extended family. We all love Christmas, attend Church all the time as we are Christians. I know some Consevatives that dislike Christmas. You cannot stereotype people like that. The newly elected Liberal Governor of my state is the son of a Baptist Minister. Just because you are Liberal does not mean you are not a believer and hate Christmas. Just as the assumption cannot be made that all Conservatives love Christmas.

I don't think all liberals hate Christmas, but I think the ones that do hate Christmas do so because they are against Christianity.

I'm not a liberal, but I hate Xmas because people in traffic go completely insane, I can't just go to the bookstore on my lunchbreak because of all the crazy shoppers, and I don't know if I will make it back in time because of accidents and traffic. What is all the hoopla about. Some prophit died a couple thousand years ago and people go nuts to by presents.
Crazy.

wow, that's a pretty broad question and therefore has to be mostly wrong. i'm sure tons and tons of liberals love christmas. get a bit more specific, would you? i'm sure there are equal amounts of liberals and conservatives who hate christmas (altho 'hate' is probably too strong a word) and that's if they can really figure out if they are liberal or conservative, most people are a bit of both.

They don't, I don't know one liberal who hates Christmas. In fact, every one of them but one that I know, and I know a lot of them, are Christians themselves.
