Use your roadside assistance and get it towed to a dealer. It should be a covered warranty repair.

I would recommend going directly to your dealer. Since it's a 2006 model it's still under warranty. BMW are very complicated cars to deal with. If you try fixing something and it's still under warranty you may loose the warranty.

What do you mean by not starting?
1. - Starter does not rev. - Check your battery or the starter.
2. - Do you have an alarm installed on your car?
2. - Starter works but engine does not start. If so is the engine light ON.

I think it's your battery.

Does the engine turn over OK, or is it dead???? Check battery and charging system operation first. Make sure battery terminals are clean as showroom-new. Remember, all electronic feeds to ignition and FI and computer rely on the constant supply of stable voltage from here. Also, if it is cranking over, but won't start, check your Fuel Injection Pump fuse. Obviously, if it is blown, your pump isn't energized, hence, no fuel. E-mail me back, if you like, with your results!!

Starter and battery. Check both. If it isn't one its the other. OR it might be the security feature on it that locks out the engine from turning on if the alarm or other device was set off.

The thing that is wrong with it is that the battery is not fully charged you should charge it

charge it for 19 hours then try again iam sure it will work,
