I've wondered that before too! What's going on there? I always say goodbye, and people say goodbye to me before hanging up the phone.

I have a client that does that and I am never sure if he is finished and has hung up or is thinking about something for a sec. . .I'm just left hanging and if I have something to say it can just be too bad. . .it's a rude click in the ear. . .

It wasn't written in the scipt to save time. We know they are finished talking, thats all that matters. Like a neighbor coming in without knocking on the door.

you know. . . I've noticed that, too. I guess it's just the script writers trying to save a little time so they get more of their witty dialog or whatever in the aired version.
